What our Interns say about Us!

  • “Werewolf Studios is a driven indie studio with a long life ahead of itself. They were a joy to intern for. As a student, I was eager to learn, and they were equally eager to teach me. I picked up so many valuable skills and got to contribute to their projects in some really cool ways. I'm proud of the contributions I made to their releases, and they should be proud of the work they do. The games industry thrives on passion, and Werewolf Studios brings that passion in spades.”

  • I've done a summer internship with Werewolf Moon Studios in 2025 and I LOVED the experience. During the time I was a soon to be senior at Champlain College and my time with this studio has prepared me VERY well for my senior year. I got to learn how to program in Unreal Engine 5 using C++ and it opened a lot of new possibilities for me which I am very grateful for the people of Werewolf Moon Studios for teaching me. It also helps that the team has great energy making work fun and is willing to take things slow for people who are learning. I absolutely recommend taking an internship with Werewolf Moon Studios if you wish to learn more about programming while going at a pace you feel is comfortable and convenient for you.

  • "I recently completed a summer internship ('24) working under Werewolf Studios. I am currently a third-year video game programming student at Champlain College and had the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, COO, and their Consultant. This internship has left me with numerous valuable skills to navigate the industry, such as how to work remotely using Microsoft Teams while managing remote tasks. Similarly, I learned how to effectively communicate my working progress, and if any help was needed. Furthermore, I learned how to integrate my contributions into larger repositories and games, all in all giving me a solid understanding of how an indie studio operates. From a more technical perspective, I gained massive amounts of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, something I had not used much before. Moving prebuilt assets, and building levels allowed me to understand the 3d space. Further than that I developed mid to high level blueprinting skills, creating functions and working with game states/controllers, and player states/controllers. Overall, it was a supportive and enjoyable environment where I was able to grow both professionally and technically. I highly recommend Werewolf Studios for any programmer looking to gain experience in Unreal Engine, and the gaming industry.

    Fall 2024

  • I started my internship at the start of my senior year of high school, September 2025. I am currently studying in my second year of Gaming and Multimedia in a Career and Technical Education program. I was very excited to get my first hands on experience in the industry working at Werewolf Moon Studios. The actual experience after I started the internship was even more exciting than I expected. The experience that made this so exciting was that I was able to apply the knowledge to my project for my program using Unreal Engine, while also being able to see how much knowledge I was gaining during just a short period of time. The reason why I was able to learn so much was because the COO specialized the lessons to my learning style, while also having me teach the CEO, as if he was a beginner. This allowed the COO to modify the lessons over time or review a topic again, if needed. I also really enjoyed working with the COO and CEO because they both talked to me in a personal way and not just in a "business needs to get done” way. This internship has definitely helped prepare me for studying computer science in college and future internships. This internship went so well that I am currently working with Werewolf Moon Studios on their upcoming game Welcome To Ludicrous Labs.

  • “During my internship at Werewolf Moon Studios, I had the opportunity to observe the inner workings of an independent game development studio. This experience provided me with insight into the challenges faced by small development teams and allowed me to apply my technical skills in a professional setting. I contributed to Trials of the Warrior. The hands-on experience reinforced my understanding of level design and highlighted the importance of adaptability in the game development process. This internship broadened my perspective on the industry and confirmed my passion for game development. I appreciate the opportunity to have been part of Werewolf Moon Studios.”

  • "This internship was an intuitive learning experience and I gained tons of new skills! The team was amazing to work with and we were able to meet most of the goals of the internship. The game was made with hard work and dedication and I wouldn't have had it any other way. Godot was a cool new challenge that learning, building and making sure everything was working was problems in and of itself but everything working out made it all more worth it."

  • If you're looking for a place to get your foot in the door of game development, this is a perfect place for you. A casual environment with a supportive and fun to work with crew. During my time here, I got to focus the skills I've gotten associated with and apply them in a cooperative space, as well as finding new areas to dive deep and discover new avenues of both design and development. The simpler workflow will give you a great starting point while still providing challenges to overcome as a team. My time here granted me a new perspective on game development and team oriented projects, and makes me all the more excited to see where my journey in game development will take me.

  • I had a lot of fun with this internship! We worked on an educational RPG aimed to revive games that make learning fun. After I had my interview, I went in thinking that it would be a more relaxed internship, but still a lot of strictness to it. In reality, everything about it was chill, from the work to the team at Werewolf Studios. There was a lot of trust put on us to get our tasks done at a steady progression and I was able to do all of it stress free! The team has flexibility and a lot of understanding for its interns, and you can really tell that they truly mean what they promote about their company. I definitely recommend taking an internship at Werewolf Studios!

  • This was my first internship, and honestly it was a lot different then what I expected. I thought it would be very structured and I would be assigned very specific tasks, but it was actually the complete opposite! My supervisor gave us lots of creative freedom, and allowed us to choose which tasks we wanted to work on. The main thing I took away from this internship was the importance of communication, not just keeping each other updated, but structuring code to be readable and easy to follow. Most of my prior experience was making games with small groups, like with 2-3 people usually, but with lots more people - like in this internship - I knew I had to keep in mind many others would use my code so they could implement their stuff. From now on my approach to writing code will be much different; before jumping into writing code, I'll take some time to think about how other people will use it.

  • "Participating in Werewolf Studios Summer 2026 Internship has been a highlight of my summer. Using a combination of Godot and C# to make a unique educational RPG game has empowered my ability to transfer foundational game development skills to other tools. The support from the team was an immense help to my progression as a game developer as they allowed me to learn the fundamentals of Godot before jumping right into the project. Werewolf Studios is run by an amazing group who are all very considerate of their intern's time, health, and learning. If you're at all interested in what goes on behind the scenes in game development, I would absolutely recommend participating in an internship with Werewolf Studios given the opportunity."
