“Werewolf Studios is a driven indie studio with a long life ahead of itself. They were a joy to intern for. As a student, I was eager to learn, and they were equally eager to teach me. I picked up so many valuable skills and got to contribute to their projects in some really cool ways. I'm proud of the contributions I made to their releases, and they should be proud of the work they do. The games industry thrives on passion, and Werewolf Studios brings that passion in spades.”

"I recently completed a summer internship ('24) working under Werewolf Studios. I am currently a third-year video game programming student at Champlain College and had the opportunity to work closely with the CEO, COO, and their Consultant. This internship has left me with numerous valuable skills to navigate the industry, such as how to work remotely using Microsoft Teams while managing remote tasks. Similarly, I learned how to effectively communicate my working progress, and if any help was needed. Furthermore, I learned how to integrate my contributions into larger repositories and games, all in all giving me a solid understanding of how an indie studio operates. From a more technical perspective, I gained massive amounts of hands-on experience with Unreal Engine 5, something I had not used much before. Moving prebuilt assets, and building levels allowed me to understand the 3d space. Further than that I developed mid to high level blueprinting skills, creating functions and working with game states/controllers, and player states/controllers. Overall, it was a supportive and enjoyable environment where I was able to grow both professionally and technically. I highly recommend Werewolf Studios for any programmer looking to gain experience in Unreal Engine, and the gaming industry.

“During my internship at Werewolf Moon Studios, I had the opportunity to observe the inner workings of an independent game development studio. This experience provided me with insight into the challenges faced by small development teams and allowed me to apply my technical skills in a professional setting. I contributed to Trials of the Warrior. The hands-on experience reinforced my understanding of level design and highlighted the importance of adaptability in the game development process. This internship broadened my perspective on the industry and confirmed my passion for game development. I appreciate the opportunity to have been part of Werewolf Moon Studios.”
